Architects of different countries
are representatives of the
structuralist movement. In the
USA Louis Kahn made various
contributions. In Japan Kenzo
Tange wrote in 1981:

It was, I believe, around 1959 or
in the beginning of the Sixties,
that I started to think about what
I was later to call structuralism.
